I took a few days off from working on my clamshells and finished another of the online classes I’ve been enjoying. This one gave techniques on designing curved blocks from traditional ones and then piecing them. I didn’t design my own block, since one was included in the lesson, and I limited myself to using fabrics from my stash. I think a few of my choices could have been better, but overall I’m not unhappy with the result.

I think the fabric choices are beautiful. The curved piecing is intriguing, it looks like the fabric is moving.
Thanks, Robbie! It was fun to do, if a trifle fiddly at times. 😉
