Here’s hoping …

long tube to make purple wrist restI’ve been trying to deal with some issues in my hands  — and especially in my fingers — for some time now. I have Reynaud’s, meaning that the circulation in my hands and feet is poor. Lately, though, my fingers are especially affected, even without very cold temperatures. At times I lose feeling completely in them, which is rather disconcerting. One thing I’ve decided to try is a wrist rest for when I’m using my keyboard. Since I have a very long keyboard/trackpad setup, a commercial wrist rest wasn’t the right size. However, I do have fabric! I simply measured the length I’d need and cut two long strips in purple to match my keyboard cover (of course!), stitched them up and filled the resulting tube with lots (lots!) of crushed walnut shells that I also had on hand. We’ll see how that does. 🙂
