Miles and miles …

stitching piping by machineNow that I’ve finished the quilting on my elephants, I’m making the piping that I’ll add before the binding. Miles of piping. But I do love the extra detail of the piping on my quilts, so I’m glad to make it. My Bernina is practically an expert by now! 😉 I’ve used a variety of different feet to make piping in the past, and this time I’m experimenting with the narrow buttonhole foot (#4), which gets much closer to the cording than the wider version of that foot (#4D) can do.
