Yum!

img_1945A new cookbook arrived at my house the other day, and today I decided to take a little break from quilting and make something new. The book is Dorie Greenspan’s latest, Dorie’s Cookies, and it’s enormous! Every recipe has a full-page photo and also detailed instructions and explanations of why to use particular methods. Beautiful! Anyway, I made her Almond Crescents. I think next time (and there will be a next time!) I’ll make them a little smaller, but they’re delicious. How delicious, you ask? Three of my grandchildren came over (the other two weren’t available), and the cookies passed with flying colors! The cookies are melt-in-your-mouth good!
