Back to the “road trip”

Earlier this summer, I’d been making some embroidered blocks, released weekly here. Two more blocks were released while I was away, and I was able to download the files then. Two more blocks were released as I was returning home, so now I have all nine blocks made and waiting. Waiting for what, you ask? Okay, I have to decide whether or not to add sashing, what kind(s) of borders to add, and how I want to quilt this; it will be the first all-embroidered piece I’ll have quilted. Oh, and an embroidered label will be released later this week, too.

IMG_0777Finally, here is the San Francisco block, which I finished yesterday. This one brought back fond memories of a trip there several years ago. 🙂

Note: the small versions of these photos may not be showing up, but clicking on them will show a larger version. I hope to figure out what’s gone wrong soon and get it fixed!
