I forgot!

Quilt with 8 rows of hearts in shades of green and orange on a grey-blue background. The hearts are alternating with 9-patch blocks in white and the same grey-blue.Some time ago (August, I think), I showed a couple of photos of the free-motion quilting I was doing on a lap-sized quilt. I’ve just realized that I never showed the finished quilt! Oops! This is the quilt, which measures 63″ x 72″; it’s a design by Lo & Behold Stitchery. I’ve made a few of their patterns,  and they always go together really well.

A white heart block on grey-blue background quilted with a feathered wreath.

I did free-motion quilting in the hearts, using a feathered wreath motif.

A double-nine-patch block in white on grey-blue background. Quilted with continuous curves and straight lines.

In the double nine-patch blocks,  I did a continuous curve from one little white patch to the next, with ruler work straight lines  in the alternate blue-grey pieces. You may be able to tell that I used the same fabrics for the piping that I’d used for the hearts.

If you click on the photos, they’ll enlarge for better viewing.
