I’m still working on the quilt I showed you last week. I’m doing the border now, and it’s taking a lot longer than I’d foreseen. That’s mainly because the curved cross hatching I’d decided to do there is more time consuming than I’d thought. For one thing, I probably should have done that cross hatching on the inside curves of the border, leaving the feathers on the outside. That would have made the transition from one section of the cross hatching to the next much easier and quicker. Live and learn! LOL! Try not to stare too hard at the less than perfect spacing in some areas, please. The corners, especially are tricky.
While doing all of this, though, I’m really appreciating my machine. 🙂 The extra space under the arm is invaluable when I have to put the bulk of the quilt in there to keep the ruler from hitting the shank of the foot I’m using. And the bobbin! Wow! I’ve only had to wind one extra bobbin so far, because of how much thread it holds. Love it!
