Okay, I exaggerated, but it certainly does seem at times as though it’s that many! I’m making a new quilt, and one of the steps is to make 140 little 9-patch blocks that measure 3.5″ unfinished — and that’s for the throw sized version of this pattern. As you may be able to tell, I’m coming down the home stretch on the 9-patches, and then I’ll be able to put them together with solid squares to make 28 of what the designer calls 49-patch blocks. Whew! I will say, though, that my lovely Bernina 790Pro makes doing this a pleasure!
