It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but there have been few little glitches in my progress. First of all, with the new MacOS that will be coming (next month?), I really had to get going on revamping my web site. This blog is safe, but the other part of my site was reliant on old software for me to update anything, and that part of the site was really outdated, anyway, and needed a new “look”. I’m making good progress on the revamp, but there are a couple of glitches I need to work out, and the whole process has taken time. In the middle of doing this work, my hosting company accidentally deleted this entire blog — ack! Luckily, there were backups, so things are back to normal after only about a day and a half.
On the quilting front, there have been delays there, too. I needed several different colors of thread so as to get started on quilting my current project, but no one locally had the thread colors/weights I wanted. Mail order to the rescue, of course. But it’s really hard to tell from a computer screen what color something might really be, so the first step was to order color cards, followed by the actual threads. Oops. Two of the ones I wanted were out of stock, so I’m going to make do with a couple of substitutions. Wish me luck! 😉
