I’m taking a little break from posting about our recent trip to Portugal to show you a little project I’ve just completed. Our local quilt circle had a demonstration on how to make these last week, so I gathered the necessary supplies and made this one. It was a fun and quick project and the perfect break I’d needed from quilting Holi Ganesha. 🙂 I used fabrics from my stash (though I had to go get some fusible and a couple of other things for the inside) and did the machine appliqué with silver thread for a subtle shine.

Hi, Sandy! Whew, what a wonderful summer you’re having! Will you be posting a picture of your Leaf Table Topper?
Hi, Pam! Good to “see” you again. 🙂 I did put the picture in this post; don’t you see it? Since I didn’t use green, it may not look much like leaves. 😉
I don’t see it either. 🙁
I wish I knew what to tell you to do! I see it, and so do some other people I’ve asked. If you’re looking at it on a mobile device, you might try telling the site to load the “real” site, though I don’t have to do that, either, to see it on my iPhone/iPad.
If you click on home and then select the post, you can see the picture. I had the same thing, when I went directly to the post the picture doesn’t show.
Thanks so much for the help, Lois! I never thought of that. I’m very puzzled about why the post is misbehaving this way, though.
Thanks Lois. That worked perfectly. d
Hi there Sandy, just bought the same pattern. Good to know it works. Have a look at the website http://www.thimble-art.com. downloadable patterns of these table toppers for all occasions and seasons. I have the picture.
Hi Suzanne! Yes, that website has a great selection of very cute patterns. 🙂 I should have said in my post that this one came from Poorhouse Quilt Designs. I assume that the ones you linked to are similar — not terribly difficult to make at all! 🙂
