I’ve had a KitchenAid mixer for several years, but it died. It wasn’t its fault, of course — it was a casualty of our move ten (almost eleven) years ago. Two days ago, my new mixer arrived, and it’s a beautiful cobalt blue! Today I gave it its first little chore, some absolutely delicious-smelling Lemon Blueberry Muffins that my husband and I will enjoy at breakfast for the next few days. The mixer sounds so much quieter and smoother than the old one, and I’m in love with the color, which I think looks great with my other kitchen things. I think my husband will be more impressed, though, with the muffins. 😉

Yummy indeed! Can’t be getting something that is both practical and pretty. Imo, you can never go wrong with blue. 🙂
Thanks, Michelle — I agree about the blue. KitchenAid has several shades of blue available, but the cobalt shade I picked is being discontinued.
l don’t know what I’d do without my KitchenAid mixer. Mine is 20 years old now, and still works beautifully. It’s a rather ugly rough textured gun metal gray though, LOL
