Chalk it up to a learning experience

IMG_0315First of all, let me stress that the class I took last Saturday was excellent, and Sandra Bruce is a very good teacher. I love taking classes, and I always learn something in each one. This one taught me that the technique we were attempting just isn’t for me. Sad but true. My tomato pin cushion with strawberry attached is bad enough — a bit lumpy and jagged. But the rest is even worse! That yellow thing standing behind the pin cushion was supposed to be a spool of thread, but it looks like someone must have melted it somehow. LOL! And those yellow and green stripes behind were supposed to look like bolts of fabric. Yeah, right. 😉 Oh well — a learning experience, as I said, and one I don’t regret. If we don’t try new things, we don’t get to experience the joy of finding the ones we love.
