I’ve been busy! In the midst of the busy-ness, I’ve completely ignored posting what I’m doing, but I’ll fix that now.
First of all, a quilter who moved away had donated some fabric to the guild. I used some of that fabric to make three different quilt tops that will be quilted by someone else and then given to a worthy cause. Two of the quilts (left and right, below) were from the series of booklets using three yards for a single quilt, and the third was a 9-patch from an online source to use a layer cake. So here are the tops!
In addition to these quilts, I’ve begun work on another BOM from Wonderfil. (The designs are free, but you will have to use their Contact Us form to get the link for the downloads.) At any rate, I started a few months late, but I’m catching up quickly; I have just three more blocks to make in order to be up to date. Here’s what it looks like so far:
As you can see, I have a block missing in the center of the second row, and there’s another row — at least — still to be revealed. I haven’t even sewn the individual blocks together yet, but that will come.

Wow, you have been busy! I have to say I love love the 9 patch. Both the fabric & the over all effect. Absolutely gorgeous. I do love the paper piecing one as well. Looking forward to seeing the missing section 😉
Thanks, Candice! That 9-patch is my favorite of the three, too. 🙂 And I’m hoping to get that center section finished in the next few days. Then I’ll have just two more blocks to do to catch up before waiting for the next block on Oct. 1. LOL!
Sandy, you are an inspiration ! You really ‘know your stuff”. It takes me an age to do a fraction of what you do, & you do it SO well! More power to your elbow. Happy sewing.
Thanks, Dianne! These all did take some time; remember that it’s been about a month since I’d last posted here, and quilting is my main hobby. 🙂
