I saw this adorable design for a trivet on Embroidery Library — and it was on sale! Win-win, right? I’ve been doing some baking for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so it was nice to do something in my sewing room and to let my machine know that I wasn’t ignoring it. 😉
The design is all in-the-hoop and quite easy to make, even with all of the color changes involved. It has a layer of Insul-Bright for protection, and I think it will be a nice touch on a holiday table.

Thanks, Dianne! It was fun to do! 🙂
C’est magnifique! ( the trivet). Only took one year of high school French!
Merci beaucoup, Gail! 🙂 (One year is better than none!)
