This quilt, like the previous one, is literally in the bag. I’m storing them both in bags until time to gift them to the intended recipients. This one is from a pattern called Strip to Be Square, by G.E. Designs. I know the colors may suggest “baby quilt,” but it’s not; I simply made it in the favorite colors of the people who will receive it. The quilt measures 51″ x 70″, and my husband’s arms don’t quite stretch to that width. 😉
Construction was fairly simple, and I thought it needed something to soften all of those angles, so I quilted lots of feathers into the colored sections and in the meandering borders. Then, as contrast, I did quite a bit of ruler work in the triangles surrounding the colored areas. Click on the photos to enlarge them.

Love the quilting & the quilt Sandy. Beautiful job! The recipients will be thrilled. Did you quilt it with the 790 Pro?
Thanks, Candice! Yes, I did it on my 790Pro. The laser was wonderful for watching where the needle would land while I as quilting. 🙂
