Texture

Part of a quilt representing colorful sewing machine needles. Quilting is some ruler work, pebbles, and feathers.I’ve been taking a long time to get going on the quilting on my current small quilt. I did actually start, but then I didn’t like what I’d done, so I “unquilted” it and started over with the “pondering” phase. However, I’m coming down the home stretch now, and I have to say that I’m really liking the texture that’s appearing as I go. I’m doing this on my domestic Bernina 790Pro, which is a truly wonderful machine.

I’m probably going to save at least part of the finishing to do at a “quilt day” at coming up at the end of the month, but it will get done. It will, that is, if our adorable little dog doesn’t insist too many times that I stop and pay attention to her. 😉
