My latest quilt is another one designed by Lo & Behold Stitchery. This one is called Homecoming, and I’m making the throw size, which is a generous 53″ x 71″. The front of the pattern shows it in five colors (background and four others), but there’s also an option to make it in two colors.
In that version it’s shown with a white background and black replacing the various colors of the other version. However, I had a large piece of a red Moda fabric, so I decided to make that the background, with white as the “design” color. The quilt top is too large for my design wall, so all I can show at the moment is a partial view. There is a *lot* of matching necessary, and all of the blocks (14 different kinds!) are set on point. Keeping track of which block goes where requires careful labelling, with the same care in getting the diagonal rows in the right order and not upside down.
I’ll be taking some time out from the quilt now while I await a chance to get the backing and batting, but I have an online class to keep me entertained. 🙂

Looks really nice. I like the bold color element. d
