Our extended family has had another addition. This is a second child for our son-in-law’s niece and her husband; I’d finished another one some time ago for their first child. Thinking ahead, I had sort of “stockpiled” a few ready-made embroidery designs for occasions like this, so I quickly decided to use this one (such a cute sloth!) and got busy making the project on my Bernina 790+. I’ve blanked out the baby’s name for privacy reasons. All that remains now is to get a frame for it.

Love the sleeping sloth. Where is design from?
I should have put that into the post, Nancy! It’s from Designs by Juju. 🙂
So beautiful Sandy. I never thought I really wanted or needed a new sewing machine with embroidery, but seeing all the wonderful projects you make, I am just reconsidering. I will still keep my Bernina 1230 that I bought in 1989. What a thoughtful, beautiful and meaningful gift for the parents and baby.
Thanks, Diana. Embroidery is definitely much more fun than I ever thought it would be. 🙂
What a cute idea! Love the little sloth, too. I have a daughter who loves them and I made some mug rugs with sloths embroidered on them.
Thanks, Sunny!:)
