Years ago, when our daughters were little, I made Christmas stockings for them. Then I made stockings for grandchildren (except for the ones who got needlepointed stockings from another relative — gorgeous!), and finally one for our son-in-law. This year I decided that my husband and I were deprived. 😉 Really, though, I thought that stockings for us would be a good decoration for the holidays. I’d already purchased a set of designs from OESD (Stitches for Your Stockings) several years ago, but I’d chickened out of actually making them — until now. I added our names in Embrilliance software (Mac friendly!) and stitched everything on my lovely Bernina 790+.

Thanks, Nancy! 🙂
Your stocking are beautiful! I had to go back and found I have this design collection. New stocking would be fun for this year.
Thanks, PJ! LOL! Like me, then, you bought the collection and put it away and promptly forgot about it? 😉 I’m glad I finally ran across it at a time when I was in the right mood to make the stockings.
