I haven’t posted anything about my Interwoven quilt in quite some time. I don’t even remember when exactly I finished putting the top together, but then I set it aside during our stay-at-home order; I just couldn’t get motivated to begin quilting it. However, I’ve now given myself a kick in the pants and begun, and I’m having fun with the designs — though it’s not such fun wrestling this large-ish piece through my Bernina 790Plus, even with its extra-wide harp space; this quilt is heavy! However, my machine does a gorgeous stitch, so I’m enjoying that part. 🙂 The way the blocks went together gave “areas” that were separated from others, making it fun to decide on different motifs for different areas. I’m doing a combination of free-motion and ruler work, which gives me lots of variety. I’ve added two photos here, one showing some ruler work and the other showing some free-motion work. There’s still lots to quilt, though! As usual, click on the photos for a larger view.

I must say I do like this combination that you have used. Well done!
Thank you, Lorraine! I still have a long way to go, but it’s fun. 🙂
Nice job, Sandy! I love that paisley swirl you’re doing!
Thanks, Rebecca! I’m trying to do a lot of different motifs, and that’s one of my favorites. 🙂
Looks like you are having fun! I had to force myself to work on some quilting projects, but I have 2 completed, and have just started machine quilting the third.
Happy quilting!
I am indeed having fun, Susan! It looks like you’ve accomplished far more than I have. 🙂
