The fifth and sixth blocks from the newest San Francisco Stitch Company series were issued a few days ago, and I was at a good stopping point in my current project, so I went ahead and embroidered them. I think there are only six more to go of each size, and I’m loving them all! The two lower ones in the photo will finish at 2″ square, while the others will be 4″ square.
Yesterday I signed up for an ongoing series of lectures at my local quilt shop, and we were told that we needed to have a jump drive we can leave there; the people at the shop will put the files from the class onto the drive, so it’s necessary to be able to identify whose drive is whose. I just happened to have a digitized file for a tag, and I used my Embrilliance software to add my name. I put it onto some cork I had, backed it with more cork to hide the back of the embroidery, and added a snap to attach it. Talk about a five-minute project!
