I’ve done several projects from San Francisco Stitch Co., and this is yet another one. I have no idea when this series will end or how often the new blocks will be available, but there have been three so far. The tiny size (2″ x 2″) is free for the first week it’s available, and the “big” blocks (4″ x 4″) are very reasonably priced. I decided to make both sizes and finished the last — so far — of the smaller ones yesterday. I substitute threads that look sort of like the ones suggested and that I already have, but that substituting is a bit confusing, so I’ve set aside the colors I’ve used so far in an attempt to avoid having to figure these out again. It will be interesting to see what the next blocks will be. 🙂 With any luck I’ll get the quilts finished for next year.

Very nice, I really like the rocking horse. And, what are you planning to do with these beautiful blocks?
Thanks, Phyl. 🙂 They’ll be quilts — small ones!
