With the fast-approaching Christmas season — many would argue that the season has already begun — we’ve decorated our home, as usual. However, there are two new decorations, both of which I showed you when I made them many months ago. But now they’re out of their “holding pattern” and in use.
Last March I embroidered this nativity scene, as well as two extras of the central portion. The “extras” went to our daughters’ homes. This is the first time the little pixie lights have been placed to illuminate it, and I’m very pleased with the result. 🙂
Then in September I made this angel for the top of our tree. It’s too bad I can’t get lights any further up inside her, but we’re still very pleased with how she looks.
