Several years ago I made a pin cushion that is a biscornu — that is, it’s a way of putting together two squares so that you end up with eight sides. Sounds crazy, right? But it’s pretty cool, and I’d always intended to make more. However, a couple of weeks ago I saw photos of a throw cushion in that same shape — and it had gorgeous embroidery on it, too. I just couldn’t resist, so here is my version.
This one is made of eight embroidered blocks; you can see parts of four of them above. The eight blocks are stitched together in four-patches, and then those are put together just as I’d put together my earlier pin cushion.

Thanks, Susan!
Gorgeous. Where did you find this beautiful machine embroidery design?
Thanks! It came from Sweet Pea: <https://swpea.com>.
