I’m still working on La Vie Est Belle (see my first post about this here), and my sewing cabinet has become more and more crowded as I progress. There really is progress, but it’s difficult to see at this point.
Beginning from the left of the photo, my various fabrics, which I need to have handy for each stage, are lined up and labeled with their color numbers. To the right and at the back are zip bags with, first, star points that I’ve completed and that await adding to the spike sections. Next to them is the bag with all of the spike sections. In front, next to the pile of fabrics, is my list of which fabrics are which and, finally, stacks of the next star points to be pieced. As each is finished, it gets added to the zip bag so I don’t lose track.
So far, everything has been paper-pieced, but I’m slowly approaching the final assembly of various parts, which will be the more traditional type of piecing. Slowly but surely …

I can’t believe that you are in the final stage of construction. With all your experience, you can now sew my Le Vie Est Belle.
LOL! I don’t think this is the final stage, Phyl. I still have to set those curved spiked units into the completed stars, once I’ve finished the stars.
