…of the tunnel is in sight! I began this quilt, ‘Tis the Season, in August, but I’ve had delays and dry spells galore. However, yesterday I added the corded piping and binding to the completed top, and now I’m doing the hand stitching on the binding. Of course, there’s still a hanging sleeve to make and apply, as well as a label to design, embroider and appliqué. Still, it’s progress, and I can hope that the quilt will be ready for next Christmas. 😉

Happy to see that your quilt is nearing completion – think how wonderful it will be on your bed next December! I like the quilting in the red border!
We just returned home after our winter in Florida, and I’m trying to get my sewing area back into usable shape.
We’re off to see our grandson and family on the weekend. I have so many plans to quilt this summer, so I hope I’ll manage to keep on track.
Thanks, Susan! This quilt isn’t large enough for the bed, unless I simply put it over the center of what’s already there. 😉 I’ll probably hang it instead, though. Good luck with getting organized in your “real” home again, and enjoy the family weekend!
