It’s my first finish of the year — thanks to my friend Phyl, who sort of shamed me into getting in gear. LOL! After all, the only thing left was to stitch the buttons into place, so I settled down and did it. I think it will be a cozy cardigan to wear right now while the weather is so cold and damp — relatively speaking, of course. Here in the Las Vegas area, we’re not really used to 40°F. temperatures and rain! But we need the water, so we’re not complaining. I must admit, though, that it feels strange not to need my sunglasses when I leave the house. 😉
This cardigan was my first attempt at a Custom Fit sweater, which is a method that takes your own knitting gauge and your own measurements and adjusts the pattern to fit so much better than it otherwise might. I like the results enough that I’ll probably try another!
