Two days ago I finished the embroidery on ‘Tis the Season. So why am I frustrated? Because I don’t have any way to take a photo of the completed top! LOL! My house is fairly small, and without a hanging sleeve on a finished quilt, I simply have nowhere to lay out a top this large (about 65″ x 65″) for a photo. There’s the floor, of course, if I move some furniture; but then I can’t get far enough away to get a good shot of the entire thing. Instead, then, here’s a picture of Bisou, who thinks this dilemma requires a nap. 😉
Quilting ‘Tis the Season will take some time, and I won’t be able to begin until a couple of other things are out of the way, but stay tuned ….

Sandy, you need to send it to me and I’ll tale a picture. All teasing aside how about the park on a swingset? In front of a pretty red firetruck and held up by the fire fighters? I got a picnic table for Mom’s day and tossing a quilt across it kind of askew looks pretty good too. You just gotta share! Hope you are doing ok and are well. Taria
Thanks for the ideas, Taria. I hesitate to use a swingset because of the fear of catching some of the embroidery on some rough metal. There firefighter idea has some definite merit, though! 😉 Thanks for writing — I’m very well, thanks and hope you are, too! 🙂
Cute picture of Bisou. How about taking a picture of half of the quilt and posting each half. Even if I don’t see a picture, I know it looks wonderful and the quilt top is gorgeous.
Actually, I think I’d have to do it in quarters! But thanks so much for your vote of confidence. 🙂
