Wow! Time certainly does sneak by, doesn’t it? Of course, it’s easy to lose a huge chunk of time when we’re sick, and that’s what happened to me last week. With the very bad flu season all around us, I headed for the doctor’s office right away when I realized that I wasn’t just tired. Luckily for me, I didn’t have the flu; it was just an awful cold. I spent most of the week lying on the couch with no energy to do anything at all. Ugh. The only one relatively happy about the whole thing was Bisou, who thoroughly enjoyed curling up on top of my quilt, surrounded by my knees while she napped and kept me company. LOL! Doesn’t she look comfortable?

I miss having a dog especially when I’m sick. It was nice having a warm friend snuggle when I wasn’t feeling well.
We are having our “step-dog” visit all next week while her human parents are going on a cruise, so I’ll get to catch up on my doggy snuggling!
Enjoy the snuggles, Susan! I do love cuddling up with Bisou when I’m not feeling well (or when I am!). Our previous cocker, Tuppence, was an expert at that, too. They really seem to know that we need some quiet attention when we’re not feeling our best, don’t they?
Hope you are feeling much better now ! Amitiés
Merci, Carolyn! I am completely recovered now. 🙂
