Today is our granddaughter’s fifth birthday! I can hardly believe she’s five already, and she’s the youngest of our five grandchildren. Yikes! Naturally, we bought her a toy that she wants, but then last night I decided I ought to make up this pattern for a Little Cupcake Tote I’d bought last January. I didn’t have the fusible fleece called for in the pattern, but I really prefer Soft and Stable, anyway, so I used that. The bag was very easy to make, though I decided not to glue the “frosting” sections to the “cake” sections; instead, I topstitched them in place. I think our granddaughter will like this — especially since she loves pink! 🙂
