I’ve just returned from a wonderful class at the Bernina Connection in Phoenix. 🙂 My quilt buddy, Phyl, invited me to stay with her, and we always have a great time together!
The class was taught by Claudia Dinnell, who does wonderful digitized embroidery patterns. The pattern we did is called ‘Tis the Season, and we had to learn Claudia’s technique for placement when rehooping. This technique works *so* well!
The first block — the teddy bear block — had three hoopings, and the second — the ornament block —  had five! It can get fiddly, but the results are worth the effort.
Now I need to find some time to do the four remaining blocks, the five embroidered text blocks and the borders — not to mention quilting the whole thing.
