I am absolutely crazy about this bag pattern. I’m not sure why, exactly, but it really is nice that it opens up into a flat “tray” for handy access. That’s really nice when I need to just toss some things to the side for easy use later. This is the third one I’ve made, though one was a gift. The first two were the medium size, but this one is a bit larger so I can use it either for more “stuff” or for larger items.
I’d originally thought I’d use the Eiffel Tower fabric on the outside, but a friend pointed out that it would get dirty, so I switched to the purple. Both of these fabrics were scraps from my stash, but the darker purple end pieces and grab tabs were purchased after I cut the wrong size out of another stash fabric.
I’ve made a certain number of bags, and I usually just do a lot of straight lines to quilt the layers of fabric and Soft and Stable together, but this time I decided to have fun with some feathers instead.

Love it. I forgot to order the pattern after your last ones so it is now in my cart lol. Thanks!
Have fun with it, Candice! And be sure to watch the included video for tips. 🙂
