If you’ve read this blog in the past, you’ll know that I like many of the various bag patterns from https://byannie.com. A few days ago, one of our grandsons stopped by with his iPad Mini, and I was horrified to see that it was “naked”! What if he dropped it? It could be scratched or even broken! Luckily, there is a relatively new pattern on Annie’s site called iCases. It comes in three sizes for a variety of devices, but the smallest one is perfect for an iPad Mini.
I had to order the pattern, since my LQS doesn’t stock that one, and then I looked through my stash to see whether I’d need to purchase fabric. After all, this needed to have a masculine flavor, so that left things like Tula Pink fabrics out. 😉 However, I found a print I’d bought quite some time ago and that had the names of lots of different countries on it — perfect for someone who is training to be a pilot! Then it was off to the LQS for some cork for the exterior of the bag, and I was in business.:) My Bernina 790Pro went through all of that bulk like butter! I think my grandson will get some good use from the result!

Great Bag – it’s a winner for sure. Love the dark cork that you used. Great choice!
