Bits and pieces

A while back, I explained that I was making yet another bag, this one called Travel Essentials. However, instead of just sitting down and making it, I’m participating in a “Slow Along” where everyone in the virtual group does the same step at the same time and has access to private videos for extra tips and tricks. One step is issued each week and  is definitely “bite-sized,” so there’s lots of time for everyone to catch up. So this is my progress so far; I’ve made all of the pockets, though none are actually attached to the “body” of the bag yet. The pocket in the photo on the right is dimensional to allow for bulkier items. I have admit that sometimes it’s hard to wait for the next step! Quilted fabric in purples and green and featuring a triceratops. Several purple zippers are attached to the pieces of fabric, each with a different colored zipper pull.Large dimensional pocket in purple and green, again featuring a triceratops. Zippered top.

In the meantime, I’ve also embroidered these two tea towels as gifts. Aren’t they cute? 🙂

Blue tea towel with embroidered wine glass forming "fill me up". Black tea towel embroidered with "Beware of Dog Kisses".
