She’s not really a puppy now, as she’s four years old and has lived with us for a year and a half. This year I bought Chouchou (pronounced shoe-shoe) a sweater that looks like she’s a Christmas gift — so cute! Unfortunately, you can’t really see the design from the front, so here she is, showering my husband with affection.
I did finally manage to get her to sit still long enough to get a decent photo of her from the front, too. That was Christmas morning.
By the day after Christmas, though, Chouchou was wiped out and spent almost the entire day snoozing in her little bed in my sewing room!

She is very cute! Nice addition to the family 🙂
Thanks, Candice! 🙂
Hi Sandy, what a cute dog. I bet she is a lot of fun. I was given a golden retriever/English setter as a pup and she is 2-1/2 years now. What a journey a new dog in our homes is. I imagine ChouChou is really lucky to have found such wonderful people and a great home. Happy New Year to you and yours, Taria
Thanks, Taria! She is definitely lots of fun, though she never learned to play with toys as a puppy. Still, she’s very affectionate and has little toy-less games she plays with us. Enjoy your dog — English setters are so pretty, and goldens are so smart and fun! What a great combination!
