I’m debating my next quilt project — decisions, decisions! — and finding things to create while I debate with myself. I ran into a sale at Embroidery Library and saw a design for a pin cushion that I thought was adorable. It’s available in three sizes (each a separate purchase), and I bought the smallest one: 2.87″ x 3.90″. Except that this size isn’t the finished size; that’s the size of the die-line templates for cutting the fabric. The actual finished product is much smaller. LOL! I made it yesterday, and it measures about 1.25″ on each side and the same from bottom to the tallest point of the roof. Needless to say, I think it’s adorable, though it probably isn’t very practical. Still, it’s very portable, so there’s that. 😉
I put a standard spool of Isacord embroidery thread and a small ruler in the photo for reference.
