I can hardly believe that I haven’t posted anything here in six weeks! But, of course, life isn’t normal these days, and I’ve had a hard time mustering up any enthusiasm for quilting. It doesn’t help, either, that my husband is home so much that I don’t really have access to our only table for pin basting my latest quilt top; it will have to wait. 😉 I’ve been doing a lot of reading and am very grateful for digital library books. However, today I thought I’d post a photo of some of the masks I made for family and a few friends. They’re a very simple design with pleats and elastic ear pieces, as well as pipe cleaners across the nose for shaping.
Outside, spring is upon us, and flowers are blooming, much to the dismay of my sinuses. LOL! But just look at this gorgeous rose bush with a variety of colors of blooms! There’s a white rose bush next to it, but it will have most of its blooms a bit later in the season.
Among the other roses in our garden, we also have this climbing bush that’s gone completely nuts with flowers. To give you an idea of the size of the bush, our little cocker spaniel, Bisou, is sitting there; she just wanted to get up and chase some birds! Thankfully, she never catches them.

I understand what it’s like with the hubs being home. Luckily he has his own computer. I would be crazy if my boys were stuck home too, one was a very social person and being at home without his gang would be a punishment for him. For that reason I’m glad they have their own homes now. But my husband is used to eating lunch and breakfast at a certain time because of past work. I am not on the same food timetsble. We decided to work in separate areas of our small home. I love him being here but sometimes one just needs her space away. 🙂
