I saw this adorable pattern for a cell phone case online and decided to make it for my granddaughter. I figured that, even if she didn’t want to use it for her phone, she could use it for something else. The hippo is really cute and is made completely in the hoop, but the instructions left a lot to be desired: no color changes, steps sometimes out of order, etc. Oh well; live and learn. Still, I did manage to get it finished, and it really is cute.
When the flap is lifted, the hippo’s “mouth” opens — so funny!
