Oh my! I can hardly believe it’s been so long since my last post! I have all sorts of excuses, ranging from being under the weather to holiday prep and family doings, but of course we all have those. LOL! A few weeks ago, I began working on La Vie Est Belle, the beautiful New York Beauty variation by Jacqueline de Jonge that I purchased in Houston. I actually made a few of the arcs (there are 20 in all), though I haven’t added the wedges that “finish” them. However, what you see in this photo is exactly what I’ve been seeing since just before Thanksgiving! At least everything is all organized and ready for when I get back to it.

You are not the only one who feel like they are in a slump….Since my weekly quilting group is getting together again, I’ve been pushing myself to work on some of my projects. I’ve been dealing with lots of little thing, like a pile of leader and enders, and some waste half square triangle blocks. Then our group helped to make a lap quilt for a neighbour, and I quilted and added the binding. It sure helped me get back to my machine…..
This time of year always takes a toll on my quilting projects, but I’ll get back to it eventually. Glad to hear you’re managing!
