Like many groups (and individuals), my local group is making blocks for our armed forces. We’re participating in the Just One Star challenge sponsored by Moda. The blocks are due by May 1, which gives everyone less than two more weeks to get a block made and mailed. I’m hoping they will receive many more blocks than they were expecting! 🙂
It’s a very easy block to make, with oversized setting triangles to make trimming to size easy for those who are actually assembling these quilts.

I turned in two star blocks at my Monday night quilt class tonight. Our teacher is mailing them in the morning. They all looked so nice. we ended up with 20 blocks to send in…Hope they make the 100 quilts..
