\"Quilt<\/a>I’ve been working on a quilt that began as a BOM at my local quilt shop, but. halfway through the monthly releases, the shop gave everyone the option of going ahead and getting all of the rest of it right away. I took them up on it, as I do prefer to work on a project all at once, and now I’ve finished the quilt. But there’s a complication, which comes down to “what was I thinking????”<\/p>\n

This quilt uses fabrics in tiny prints that I’m not crazy about, and the overall look is of a lot of green — not my favorite, except in small doses. Live and learn, right? Oh well. It’s cute enough, but I’m planning to donate it. I didn’t quilt this as densely as usual, simply because I didn’t want to add to the stiffness of this heavily-embroidered piece. I have to admit that I do think that the houses are really adorable, so I hope the new owner will like it.<\/p>\n
