\"Quilt<\/a>Some time ago (August, I think), I showed a couple of photos of the free-motion quilting I was doing on a lap-sized quilt. I’ve just realized that I never showed the finished quilt! Oops! This is the quilt, which measures 63″ x 72″; it’s a design by Lo & Behold Stitchery<\/a>. I’ve made a few of their patterns, \u00a0and they always go together really well.<\/p>\n

I did free-motion quilting in the hearts, using a feathered wreath motif.<\/p>\n

In the double nine-patch blocks, \u00a0I did a continuous curve from one little white patch to the next, with ruler work straight lines \u00a0in the alternate blue-grey pieces. You may be able to tell that I used the same fabrics for the piping that I’d used for the hearts.<\/p>\n
