\"A<\/a>I’ve had this design for a couple of months and finally got around to making it today. It’s just a little mug rug (from San Francisco Stitch Company<\/a>), but I wanted it as a sort of souvenir, even though we weren’t in Paris for this year’s Olympics. It only takes a couple of hours to make something like this, and it’s fun to do and to have or gift afterwards.<\/p>\n

I really like having the Bernina Stitchout app on my phone so I can monitor the embroidery process, even when I’m not in the same room. \u00a0It tells me when the machine has stopped for a thread change or when there might be a problem, like the bobbin being empty.<\/p>\n
