In a huge bit of progress for this particular quilt, I’ve finished both the free motion and the ruler work quilting! That means that I’ve been able to collapse my sewing cabinet so that I can actually walk into my room, rather than climbing over things to get in. LOL!<\/p>\n

\"Detail<\/a>I did my favorite free-motion motif — feathers — in the heart blocks. These feathers are big, flowing, and anything but formal.<\/p>\n

In the double nine-patch blocks, I did a combination of free-motion curves and a bit of ruler work for the straight lines.<\/p>\n
