\"Photo<\/a>What’s here, you ask? Why, my brand-new replacement Bernina 790Pro!!!!<\/strong> It’s been a month since my original Pro sort of blew up, but Bernina sent me a new one that I picked up from my dealer \u00a0last night. The only reason for the delay was that the local tech — a really nice guy — was out of commission for three weeks. Anyway, I’m *so* glad to have it! Don’t get me wrong; my little travel machine — a 475 Kaffe edition — is lovely, but I can’t do some of what I love to do on that one. Anyway, this new Pro is even quieter than the first one, which makes me wonder whether something had been working its way loose practically from the start. At any rate, it’s all set up now, and I’m back to working on an online class in machine quilting in the hoop. I’m not sure it’s a technique I love, but I can see a use for it in some situations.
