\"part<\/a>Last summer I pieced a quilt top called Metropolis II by Heidi Pridemore, and that top has been “marinating” while I considered how I wanted to quilt it. I’d finally decided that I wanted to use some of the designs that Sue Heinz<\/a> has in her repertoire and which would work very well in this quilt that sort of looks woven. Our guild was lucky enough to sponsor Sue Heinz at a meeting and classes in January, so I put off the quilting even more until after the class I took — and until my sprained back was feeling better.<\/p>\n

But now I’ve started, and I’m loving the texture created by the motif I chose to use first! I can only work on it a little at a time so as not to strain my back more, but it will progress. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
