\"tea<\/a> I love tea and drink a small pot of it almost every morning while reading my email. The tea cozy I use for the holiday season is over ten years old, and the one I use the rest of the year is even older, so I decided that it was time for a new one. I found a simple pattern<\/a>\u00a0(free!) online and got to work. I already had a cute embroidery design from Oh My Crafty<\/a>, among others that didn’t make the cut, so that was easy. On top of that, I had plenty of batting scraps, fabric, and — best of all — some pretty braid I’d had on hand for several years and never had a reason to use. The braid was the determiner for the embroidery threads I used, in order to tie things together. I can hardly wait for tomorrow’s tea!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
