However, something else “popped up” that had to be done. Thirteen years ago, we’d had granite countertops installed in our kitchen. It was time to do something about it. We found someone to install new countertops; someone to install a new backsplash; a plumber to hook up the sink, disposer, dishwasher, and reverse osmosis system; and someone to repair the drywall that was damaged in pulling off the old backsplash.<\/p>\n
<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-4443\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/IMG_1348.jpeg?resize=211%2C158&ssl=1\" alt=\"demolished kitchen counters\" width=\"211\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/IMG_1348.jpeg?resize=300%2C225&ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/IMG_1348.jpeg?resize=1024%2C768&ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/IMG_1348.jpeg?resize=768%2C576&ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/IMG_1348.jpeg?w=1280&ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 211px) 100vw, 211px\" \/><\/a>We got really lucky!
