\"Elephants<\/a>I’m not wild about the title I ended up with for this quilt, but I couldn’t think of anything better and wanted to get the label done. \ud83d\ude42 The quilt began when I saw a pattern called “Elephants” from Laundry Basket Quilts. I do like elephants, so it caught my attention. However, each elephant in the design was completely separated from the others. One of the things I find so interesting about elephants is their strong family ties, so I changed the design to have each elephant connected to the next. The elephants are machine appliqu\u00e9d, and I used free-motion quilting and ruler work to quilt the piece, which measures 36.5″ x 39.5″.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
