\"cushion<\/a>This was such a fun project to do, but there were times that I thought I might never get to the end of it. LOL! I loved selecting and using the built-in embroidery stitches on my Bernina 790+, but I have to admit that quilting them — all in the ditch — quickly became very repetitive. Still, the result was — IMHO — worth it. Once that was finished, I made and applied some covered cording for the outer edges. The next step was to make a backing, which I also quilted. I gave the backing a zipper closure to make laundering the cushion a little easier, if\/when that becomes necessary. This is how the thing looked at that point.<\/p>\n

\"Glamorous<\/a>That’s all very fine, but a flat cushion isn’t very comfortable, so today I made a muslin “filler” and stuffed it with about two truckloads of fiber fill. Result: now it’s finished and I’m delighted!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
